Mesme.onlineWe were faced with the task of making a unique, and the most simple and easy-to-use application for pranking.
Onboarding
The welcome screens are not only simple, but also effective. They show the functions of the app that the user has to interact with.
We also let the user make the first choice of starter bots, which the user will immediately start working with.
Interface
Design represents a clean and user-friendly messenger. The contacts are bots, and the notifications themselves look like simple chat messages.
This makes it easy to understand the app and also makes the pranks look more realistic.
Push notifications
The main function of the application is content delivery through notifications. For this purpose, we chose local notification, instead of the push notifications used by messengers.
But the peculiarity of local notification is that unlike push notifications, they do not work after rebooting the device.
AlarmManager was used to solve this problem. This allowed the possibility of notification delivery to be comparable to the possibility of triggering the set alarm clock.
The app is easy to understand, and you can start creating push notifications right away:
Fakescreen
This is another feature of the application that allows you to take a screenshot with the interface hidden, so you get a chat screen from your regular messenger.
Bots
For each bot, there are prepared phrases to match its character, which can be used by each user.
If the user wants to create their own text for notifications, they can enable this feature in the app by purchasing the subscription.
I miss u...
for the week?
to put on your hat?
Also, each bot has its own unique avatar. Each illustration reflects the peculiarity and personality of its character.
Chief
station
drinking buddy
coach
In addition to avatars, each character has their own style of communication. Grandma will definitely make sure the user wears a hat, and the boss will ask to take a shift this weekend paid in “thanks”.
We've written 50 pushes for each character that won't let the user get bored.
MesMe is a unique application designed for entertainment and practical jokes.
